It's Darling Vintage Fair - 11th December 2010

Well, we had a darling day yesterday. A steady stream of shoppers came into the Guildhall in Bath and kept us on our toes.

We had a really successful day and sold out of our Christmas bunting within a few hours of 'setting up shop', note for next year must make more! All the hairclips and keyrings went, we are left with a few brooches and a couple of hairbands - phew, better get bobbling!

We met lovely sellers including Random Vintage and Scrapiana, Purple Sparkle Crafts and Mrs Stokes, and Katie Bonas.

Looking forward to next years fair.

Bit of a give-away!

Doing a bit of a competition as i like to share the 'pretties', suggest us to friends and family and point them in the direction of our Facebook page. Get us to 100 fans and the 100th friend will receive a bespoke fascinator/corsage in the design and colour of their choice. Nice eh!

Fascinators and Corsages

As we are now more aware the 'crispy' season is upon us, time to wrap up and hibernate with tea and cakes! However, with this 'ooooooh' weather comes Christmas parties and festive do's. So i am designing a range of fascinators and corsages that will brighten up any LBD. Each fascinator is just £10.99 plus P+P (£1.50) and corsages start at £12.99 plus P+P (£1.50) and every design is different.

If you have a specific colour and/or design in mind please feel free to get in touch and i would be happy to discuss a bespoke design.

All things floral...

Following a burst of creative juices from friends and family we have once again found our direction and are creating Fabric Flowers in many guises!

We have beautiful silk hair fascinators starting at just £10. You can have these on bands, elastics, clips or combs (seen here). Think of Christmas and think fascinating outfits!

We also have 'daisy chains', these start at £9 and can be made to match your colour scheme. My daughters have them hanging in their rooms like bunting.

We will be at West Ashton School on the 10th of November, then the Bath 'It's Vintage Fair' on the 12th of December. Looking forward to showcasing the new flowers.

Pictures and Pankys!

Have a had a busy couple of weeks, we did our first official craft event as Dufflebobble Crafts which was nerve wracking, exciting and very entertaining. I was totally exhausted the day afterwards but it was well worth it and we are now booked to do 5 more throughout the year - we are taking over!

As for crafts as home and new developments, we have a new range of fabric flowers in wooden frames.

And we are also trialling a new product to the Dufflebobble market, a Panky. Its a baby comforter consisting of jersey and soft cord fabric with ribbons and embellishments.

Well think that will do for now, look out for us at the Holt Fayre on September 25th 10am. Look forward to seeing our faithful followers there xxx

Doorstops

Have done some lovely doorstops for a few friends and family. Have added the classic baby fabric buttons to this one, others have fabric covered buttons or big wooden buttons as embellishments. Measures about 11" in height and is weighted by sand, also has an internal mesh bag. If you fancy something similar to the one pictured here just email me your requirements or visit my Folksy shop.

hmmm nice to Bobble, to Bobble nice!

A day in the life of Dufflebobble

We are very excited to be appearing on the blog of Joanne Dewberry, Dorset Business Mum of the Year, at the end of August.

Read about us and find out what Joanne is up too here. www.joannedewberry.co.uk

We are also busy organising our very first (as Dufflebobble) craft stall whilst keeping up with lots of lovely orders however every so often there is a moment of whimsy that cuts through the chaos and i thought i would utilise this space for such whimsings! Read more about our crafty-ness here http://www.facebook.com/topic.php?topic=113&uid=132061026821028

We're now on Twitter too!

Bunting

My mum has been very industrious and created bunting in all sorts of colours for all sorts of occasions. At the weekend we had an order for Wedding bunting which is a new one on me but its very exciting to be in demand!
So she is working her fingers to the bone.

This is a green one she has done, there are pink ones half done and, like many of you crafty bobblers, there are half done ones in every room of the house.

Hair Grips/Fascinators

Had some friends round for a few lemonades and they made the suggestion that i ought to try hair grips, so here it is and i have to say, its so cute.

Made the same way as the baby fabric flower brooches, measuring a wee 2" accross and embellished with a black feather. It is attached to a 'crocodile grip' and is perfect for weddings, parties, mondays, tuesdays........

think i might make a few more of these babies (this one is for sale on my Folksy site, watch out for the others coming very soon i feel)

Curtain Tie Backs

My house is going to be overun with momfetti's flowers soon but i have found so many uses for them and since i aquired some beautiful silk from Hong Kong, i thought why not! They are now adorning my curtains in our dining room, along with fab giant buttons and hessian wrap. Measuring 6" across they make a statement!

Loved them so much i used the photo for my logo too!

Zippperd Wristlet

A handy little 'bag', useful for storing phone and keys on a night out.

Fairly easy and straight forward to make and it got me over my fear of zippers too.
